What is Slang?
Slang is a type of language (speech) restricted to or used by a certain group of people who belong to the same social group or a particular occupation.
It is a sort of a code understood only by those who belong to such groups. This fact gives every participant the sensation of "identity" or "belonging". It is not advised to use slang among people who are neither familiarized with it nor part of that group.
Slangs are often short-lived because they are usually born with different generations.
